​After 14 years of theater on the professional circuit, in October 2023, following a series of reflections on theatre, Sara Esposito and Gaia Galati decide that it is time to revolutionize their lives: the idea of ​​ Compagnia Nous was born, a Neapolitan company not yet formally established, which began to take form in January 2024. 
They were soon joined by Antonio Barberio, a talented composer and musician, also known as Dr.Nautilus. Their artistic and human chemistry was instant, solidifying their pact. Their journey, spanning studios, academies, universities, workshops, internships, streets, and stages, led this group of artists to a shared goal: to work with discipline, quality, and respect and to rediscover the joy and authenticity of their profession. 
The company marked its debut on the auspicious occasion of Candelora di Montevergine, with the show “Nostra Signora degli Schiavi” by Sara Esposito, featuring Sara Esposito and Antonio Barberio. This production, created with the patronage of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Mercogliano in collaboration with Apple Pie L'Amore Merita, was a testament to the company's potential and the talent of its founders. 
Compagnia Nous is finalist in the Giving Back Call announced by Carrozzeria Orfeo, with the text “Ad A.” by Sara Esposito, with Antonio Barberio, Sara Esposito, Sebastiano Gavasso, music by Jessica Abbruzzese Saccardi and Antonio Barberio, assistant director Gaia Galati. 
"Flimsy case" is the title of the project designed by Compagnia Nous.
Thanks to the expedient of travel, which has always been an essential driving force of the Neapolitan soul, our protagonists, three migrants in search of fortune, will drag the public into a whirlwind of reflections and emotions.
