“Connection” at Kaf Café – April 19th, Valencia

On April 19th, La Mansarda returned to the cosy stage of Kaf Café in the heart of Benimaclet, Valencia. Though this wasn’t our first event in the city (we had our debut in April 2024), it felt just as special—maybe even more so. Our theme for the night was “Connection”, and from the very first performance, it was clear that something meaningful was unfolding.
We opened with the thoughtful work of Vanesa Santuccione, a visual artist and poet whose words set the tone for the evening. She was followed by KidsInWoods, a singer-songwriter whose music lifted the spirits of everyone in the room. James, another talented singer-songwriter, continued the journey with his heartfelt lyrics and presence. We closed with the acoustic magic of Pol Frank and Kertu, whose blend of piano and saxophone wrapped the evening in warmth.

We had an intimate evening: a familiar, relaxed environment where people could genuinely connect. No rush, no pressure. Just art, conversation, and presence.

As always, we paused for a short moment of reflection on the humanitarian cause we support—Emergency NGO, which provides free medical care in war zones and to communities affected by poverty and inequality. The message was simple and sincere, quietly grounding the event in purpose.

Of course, no La Mansarda night would be complete without our signature tiramisu. This time, it was lovingly made by Aitana—our Spanish host and organizer—stepping in for our Italian CEO Ligia. And yes, despite the twist in nationality, it was a hit! A sweet way to close the night and say thank you to everyone who joined.

The beautiful photographs you’ll see here were taken by Davide Castelo, whose ability to capture the spirit of the night deserves special mention. His work speaks for itself—moments of connection, expression, and quiet joy frozen in time. Thanks to all the artists, the guests, and the wonderful Kaf Café team.

We’ll be back soon. Until then, — La Mansarda Team
